investigators are at the scene of a deadly plane crash near livermore. you can see the debris and wreckage spread across the field. the only identifiable part of the plane is the tail. it is a short distance away from where it looks like the plane hit. it left concord at 8:45 bound for reid-hillview in san jose. when the plane failed to arrive in san jose, the pilot's family alerted emergency crews. the pilot is the only known occupant of the plane. he was killed in the crash. and as we continue to look at these pictures, we are joined now by sergeant jd nelson with the alameda county sheriff's department. this plane was reported missing last night and just found this morning. who was searching for it, can you tell us? >> yes. our search-and-rescue teams were out here last night. based on the information we had, the plane wreckage is located between pleasanton, hayward and castro valley. so it's a pretty remote area. and not too easy to see economy you have no light at all. no one reported a crash. there are no homes anywhere close. and we had no reports

livermore police say 35-year-old brian of livermore has posted bail after he was arrested on vehicular manslaughter charges. livermore police say jones was going too fast and lost control of his 2014 corvette on murrieta boulevard near an apartment complex where today neighbors and even strangers are grieving. investigators say jones had left wine country here in town. they stopped edped serving at 5:00 p.m. and this crash happened around 7:00. they're trying to determine where he was during those hours. investigators describe what happened. >> the vehicle struck two trees before sliding into the backyard of two apartments when it came to rest. two victims were initially struck by the vehicle, a 40-year-old female and her 14-month-old daughter. >> i could hear the screeching. >> okay. >> it was -- you know it wasn't regular screeching. it was way too long. and that's when i was, like okay, maybe there's going to be an accident or something. >> reporter: now, two other little boys ages 6 and 7 were hit by debris but we're told they have been treated and released. police say preliminary

i can show you this live look through the altamont pass and livermore valley it's slow to north livermorethen it picks up again but the drive time continues to move on up to 22 minutes there. a lot of low clouds and fog may contribute to the slowdown in that area. we have been watching this one wreck. it's the only real problem spot out there. it's in the northbound lanes of 101 in marin county approaching larkspur near lucky drive and it sounds like maybe one lane is blocked. chp is on scene now as well as tow crews. and the southbound commute direction everything is fine out of san rafael. but because it is counter- commute, there's no issue there. and golden gate bridge traffic is also fine if you are continuing southbound in sausalito. golden gate bridge no delay in either direction. zipper crews have already gone past. san mateo bridge roadwork is picked up. they were doing a lot of roadwork with westbound and eastbound 92 now that all that is cleared all the lanes reopened everything looks great over the high-rise. heading into hayward it looks good. slow traffic in san jose right n
