i'm marcus washington. and we begin with breaking news. the state department is expected to raise its travel advisory world wide to level 4, which means do not travel over the global impact of the coronavirus pandemic. earlier this morning during a news conference, president trump announcing that the fda has a possible new anti-viral treatment this is to fight the coronavirus. but the possibility of it getting to americans quickly remains unknown. the drug, he says, is called hydroxy chloraquin. it is used to fight malaria. he says it could hold a great promise and could be a game changer. >> the nice part of it is it's been around for a long time so we know if things don't go as planned, it's not going to kill anybody. when you go with a brand-new drug. it's a powerful drug in different forms and it's shown very encouraging, very, very encouraging early results. >> now, it's important to know the fda says while the drug is approved to treat malaria, it is not aproed to treat coronavirus yet. and it still needs to undergo clinical trials.
