carlson joins us now live from johnson county. mark, how is the closure expected to impact traffic? yes, beth a lot of people use this bridge. this is also a route a lot of people take to avoid driving on interstate 380, which runs parallel to 965. the bridge is expected to be shut down completely for three months. officials say they hope to have it completely back open by the end of november. but that will require a dry fall for that timetable is to hold. a detour route has been posted, which will run from shueyville to i-380 to penn street in north liberty. right now officials say it's all about getting an early warning out to people because this is going to be a big inconvenience out and we've put message sign boards out this past week warning everybody that it is going to happen sept. 6, like always we ask people to plan accordingly, give themselves a little extra time to utilize the detour route.
