matt keller is at regional medical center in san jose. matt?t put up here at regional medical center to help with the increase in flu patients and hospitals across the bay area are dealing with this including stand ford hospital and they are dealing with more and more flu patients. there has been a dramatic increase with valley medical center and urgent care unit are filled with flu patients and some had to wait four hours to see a doctor. medical experts are noticing a trend. >>> this year, people that are getting the flu are people that are younger to middle aged. this is very consistent with what happened during the 2009 pandemic. next, it is the same flu strain. >>> it is not just hospitals being careful, the san jose unify school district is taking recauses with clerks in all the schools got a a refresher court the -- to keep the virus from spreading. >> confirmed flu degrees in the bay area is at least nine l have been two deaths in marin and santa clara county and one in sonoma, san francisco, contra costa, alameda and san mateo county.
