nbc bay area's jocelyn moran is live in dublin for us tonight. so, jocelyn, if we have somewhere to go this weekend, we're definitely going to need to plan ahead. yeah, for sure. jess. audrey that closure officially in effect as of 9 p.m. tonight, we did talk with businesses who are bracing themselves. we also spoke with people in the area who are all too familiar with these closures. i was like, oh, here we go again tonight. it's the beginning of a weekend closure on a busy freeway. southbound 680 will be closed between acosta boulevard and san ramon, and the five 8680 connector in pleasanton. the closure is planned through 4 a.m. on monday. it will back up traffic. you have to go down san ramon valley to 580. karina had seen the signs notifying drivers of caltrans plans for the weekend, but it comes on top of other closures in the area. and then the other night, i was experiencing it because they closed the ramp on acosta and they were also doing construction off of amador right here. so it was just like, okay, a little a little more chaos sush
