news leader -- this is wcvb newscenter 5 at 5:00. jc: -- boston mayor marty walsh enacting new safety measures after the death of a little boy. ben: we are learning more about the death of seven-year-old kyzr willis. juli: it is still a mystery how back into the water. investigators learned that the camp counselors actually bought that yellow swimsuit that he was wearing when he died. the commissioner updated us. the timeline -- at 2:15 p.m., the counselors began clearing the beach to the bathhouse. kyzr was seen walking toward the building. his in the bathhouse, but no sign of the little boy. that is when the search began. he was eventually detected by sonar 20 yards out into the water. he had been practicing his swimming just hours before. >> unfortunately, that particular day one of the counselors was trying to teach him to swim. from what i understand he was a weak swimmer, one of the counselors was holding him up that day.
