looking at outside of our live truck here. the traffic is going pretty smoothly. we're here on southbound 280 approaching downtown as you can see. there have been accidents. chp has two on the peninsulaand some on northbound 101. not sure if it is raining down in those areas just because we can't see it. but let me show you what it looked like earlier this morning. the rain was coming down sideways near the san mateo bridge because of the wind. we haven't seen that heavy rain as i mentioned, but that's supposed to change. we got somebody on facebook telling us it started pouring in a certain area in san jose. we still haven't seen that yet, but it could very well be the case. but the roads have been wet up and down the peninsula. caltrans has been out taking care of flooding earlier. that's all been cleaned up near the wood side exit. you can bet all these crews are on stand by today in case there are any problems once we start seeing it really start to come down. now, chp has also been out. they've been responding to spinouts and accidents that have been happening. we started to see them pop up more here in the south bay. and if we come back out live, if you come out to the shot sho
