emma and rebecca, you are both editor and chief of the paper. when it comes to the two of you, it is a very difficult thing to tell any kind of tragedy and explain it. when even more complicated you are part of the story and have a personal connection to it. how have you handled that in your choices as editor? >> like kevin said, it is a balancing act, between being a journalist and a survivor. any journalist knows sometimes it is very hard to cover something of tragedy and sometimes you have to talk about your own emotions. it is also your school and family and friends. .hat is on a whole other level it is really hard. but at the same time, we thought we had a unique platform. we are not only journalist, but survivors. no other publication knows parkland like we know parkland. i think that we understood we had this platform and we wanted to use it. the day after the shooting, that night, i emailed my advisor and i thanked her for helping keeping us call him. i said we would change the world with our newspaper and i would like to think we have d
