i'm sam brock sfwr and i'm laura garcia-cannon. we will all be hot this afternoon as it's going to be a warm one today. >> it's going to be really hot for the inland valleys and we've had to deal with this all week long. looking at those temperatures today, that could reach as hot as 107 degrees. well, as we get a look at the forecast today and looking live outside right now ator and reservoir at morgan hill the high temperature there will be up to 101 degrees. looking at the the cast overwe start out at 60 degrees and high temperatures reaching into the upper 70s to low 80s and the inland valleys that's where it will r50e8ly sizzle again this afternoon. excessive heat warnings in effect and this will be the last day we'll have widespread triple digit temperatures inland. i'll talk more about that, what's ahead for the weekend coming up in seven minutes as we head over to mike now you're track a new crash on the peninsula. >>> a new crash. it doesn't sound like it's a major issue as far as the traffic flow, but someone did drive of
