not as heavy through san jose. you can see we've taken a breakthrough there. let's look at the hour by hour outlook. by 9:30, moisture will be pushing through san francisco as well as far northern areas. in through santa cruz and we'll get an occasional pocket of rain through 12:30. notice some areas of showers in through san jose. we've got moisture pushing up from the south. that's why we're keeping this period of on and off again rain at least through the afternoon. if you notice by 5:30, the a majority of the moisture trickles out completely and we get a lot of cloud cover that lingers. by thursday morning, by tomorrow, it will be moved out of area. what's going to be left behind is a much drier day for thursday and as we head in towards friday as well. as far as the temperatures go for inland areas, we're going to stick to the 50s through tomorrow. we warm up a little bit into friday and saturday. we keep the dry conditions for the first half of your weekend. but as we head in towards sunday, this is where another change is anticipated. that's because we'r

not a lot of cloud cover through san jose and san francisco.ouds if you're in the santa cruz mountains. they are high clouds and satellite radar we have the storm ranger up and running. it's not tracking anything now but we have the big storm system making wait in. and the first sign of that will move in tonight. we will get a initial line of showers overnight and tomorrow morning. by about 9:30 p.m., we'll see some pockets of rain in santa rosa and sand are rafael. it's going to golden gate brid. that line of showers starts trickling down and moving further down south through the evening hours. around 5:00 and 6:00 is when we're expecting these strongest of the showers to really come through all the way down through san jose, as well. san jose is expecting a good chance of seeing rain out there. as far as the monday forecast goes, we'll get to see some of that rain in the early morning commute and tracking sierra snow through the storm system. definitely check that out before you head out. wind speeds also going to be a huge factor as the stor

san jose catches a little bit of a break. by 11:00 a.m., we get more pockets pushing in from the south, san jose and the morgan hill area as well. as far as the timeline goes, in the afternoon between 4:00 and 6:00, you can see the rain clears out and all that's left behind by 11:00 p.m. is a lot of cloud cover. as far as the wind speeds go, expect gusty conditions into santa rosa and napa upwards of 20 miles per hour. the rest of the bay area r. will remain breezy. we do see the wind diminish by 7:00, 8:00 as that system makes its exit, the rain will move out and the winds will go down as well. now, as far as the next couple of days, thursday and friday, we dry out, nice little break from the rain. temperatures remain in the 50s. if you notice, saturday is a good day. by sunday, we get an additional system that moves in and so far the system looks to be moving in sunday night into early monday morning. that could mean a pretty wet commute early monday morning into next week. but for now, keep the rain boots in hand, take the

kpix 5's maria medina live in san jose where a vigil was just held hours ago. maria? >> reporter: the police chief and jennifer vasquez's family divided on this issue, this is where vasquez took her last breath. but officers say she gave them choice but to fire. the moment that ended jennifer vasquez's life caught on camera. and forever changed her family's y, candles have burned for vasquez. at the spot where police say she lost control of her car, then tried desperately to free it from a fence before she allegedly rammed it into a patrol car as officers stood outside yelling at her to surrender. >> i'm saddened to be here this afternoon. >> reporter: san jose police chief eddie garcia defended the officer's who opened fire killing vasquez. passenger linda bueno survived. >> it was reasonable and justified for the officers to feel their lives were in danger. >> reporter: garcia called the shooting a tragedy and the moment the suspect's crossed paths with officers a coincidence. vasquez and bueno were in a white toyota camera in an area where two people had been shot.
