temperatures in the upper 30s. 38 degrees in san martin.pare that to oakland where it's 50 degrees. it depends on where you are. we have a clear view in palo alto and no fall to worry about. we are not seeing any dense fog today and temperatures there in the low 40s. mid-60s by noon. 70 in cupertino. up to 70 in livermore. some upper 60s, 65 on the embarcadero and 71 in napa. where is that rain? still missing the bay area. go to our south and we could only see a few spotty sprinkles around the coastal areas. a few more storm systems north of us. we will continue on with a lack of rain going into the next seven days. temperatures will also warm up. the low 70s today to the upper -- rather, the mid-70s by the middle of next week. it's a bad time for a crash at the bay bridge toll plaza. >> i think there's never a good time. cash lanes just off the 880 overcrossing. see how the cars are feeding in off the nimitz. section vehicles involved in the crash. no major injuries. a big distraction for folks coming into the area. two tow trucks, perhaps

san jose, san martin at 39 and san francisco now at 50.s we get a closer look at the north bay once again, these are the areas we're watching and we're at 42 in napa. fairfield at 44 degrees. so as you're getting dressed this morning it is all clear and it is chilly. so you do still need a very nice thick coat and also it is a day for some nice warm pants as well with. as we go through the forecast we'll reach into the upper 50s. we'll see our temperatures in the upper 50s, just a couple of degrees warmer than yesterday. but you won't really notice it that much. in fact, the bigger warm-up is coming our way as we head toward the end of the week. and there is still a lot of rain targeting parts of the pacific northwest. we're still missing out on that rain. high pressure blocking it. keeping it to the north of the bay area. and so as we go into the rest of the week, we warm up. but we're also still going to be very dry. we're looking at tea-- at temperatures in the upper 60s. 68 degrees is the inland temperature high on friday and then cool

look at san martin, down to zero there. and we've seen it riding up along 101 and so it may be moving into south san jose in downtown san jose and napa now down to a quarter mile visibility. but once that clears out we have a beautiful day. high temperatures reaching into the upper 60s and low 70s. and more sunshine in that forecast. as you check out the bottom of the screen and here is why. we still have this bubble of high pressure. it is causing the air to sink. it keeps the skies clear but there will be changes ahead going into sunday. and possibly next week. we may get some rain in here. it doesn't look like a significant storm but maybe some changes heading into next month. in the near term we're still having some very dry conditions and temperatures warming up. upper 70s in the inland areas by the end of the week. and mike, you're seeing more traffic trouble in the tri-valley. >> and part of that is because of the fog that you talked about, kari. here is our view it from the dublin camera. only visibility for the park
