now sfo is touting terminal 2 as airport of today and tomorrow. they say it's green and uniquely sustainable. lots of features to reduce waste and make it energy- efficient. as you may remember, it was the old international terminal built back in 1954. but now with this $383 million renovation, it is leed gold registered, the first airport in the term -- terminal in the country to be so. designers wanted travelers to be healthier and less stressed so some of the design highlights include the nation's only food court featuring locally grown organic food, a direct bart connection via the airtrain so it makes it easier to get to the airport without a car, club-like seating in the waiting area, a children's play area and lots of natural lighting. >> well, the lines are the same but it's comfortable, good- looking, they did a good job. >> it has more lights. so even at this early time, it's barely 6:00, it has an openness feel to it. >> reporter: they have also got this so-called recomposure area after security that lets you gather all your stuff toget

northbound 101 near sfo. for a while it was partially blocking the off-ramp there.go. everything is nice and quiet. you can see all the way down the eastshore freeway. westbound 80 moves even if through richmond into berkeley. here's a snapshot there near ashby avenue so everything is nice and quiet through the macarthur maze. san mateo bridge -- i should have mentioned there is a wind advisory at the bay bridge. san mateo bridge no wind advisories, nothing going on so nice east ride along westbound 92. commute directions towards foster city and peninsula, eastbound looks great off the high-rise towards hayward. and for silicon valley commuters, westbound 237 looks great so far all the way out of milpitas heading towards zanker road. right around that bend, westbound 237 traffic, top speeds this morning all the way down towards the south bay. a lot of our sensors are updating this morning. i'm not sure what's one all those zero miles an hour but everything is good to go on northbound 101 from morgan hill, easy commute. guadalupe parkway delay free. a lot of roadwork

there's why, a west 18 at sfo, west 10 at oakland.est-southwest fairfield, so the ocean breeze, the delta breeze has definitely established itself in add vance of the system coming out of the gulf of alaska. this will actually dig over land so it doesn't have much rain with it. we'll get some rainy showery weather on thursday. but the big news is the cold air coming in. as it does, that will settle in and the highs will be in the mid-50s. and if there's any available moisture left over, we could have light snow down to 2500 feet. not a lot of rain with this system. but there will be a lot of cold air. today it will be mostly sunny, at least for the morning hours. 50s, 60s and 70s. we'll have a lot of low 70s for some. still some mid-70s. 67 berkeley. 68 san leandro, low 70s from fremont to san jose, morgan hill, gilroy, 74. santacruz said they were 82 but only 70 today. it will be sunny but more of a westerly breeze. 59 daly city. os for some but low 70s for many on the peninsula, then tomorrow everyone cools down, especially inland.
