still there is good news to report near sfo. things seem to be moving pretty smoothly for drop-offs when our chopper flew by earlier and traffic was moving on 101 near the airport even if it was a little heavy . the tsa expects this to be a record breaking travel season nationwide. sfo says people got an early start and last friday it was actually busier than today. kelsey thorne is live at sfo to let us know how things have looked throughout the evening. i know kelsey, normally this is the chaos day, how has it been? >> reporter: yeah, sara. that is how it has been in the past but really i think this year , a lot of travelers made their travel plans earlier because it is really not that crowded here in sfo right now. you can see we are in terminal two, right by the alaskan airlines gate and there is a few people going through some last-minute travelers but it is really not that bad. not a big line right now going through security, few people coming through. there is only a few flights actually left for the rest of the night and

sfo picked up a 0.01. the projection yesterday was for 0.21 and i think 0.01 is probably going to do it. now, if you're along the marin coast, sonoma coast, better opportunity you can see these. everything's coming up from the south southwest and you can see right there. so, i mean, we're not done with this yet. there's still some around oakland, emeryville, maybe san pablo bay, napa county, i think anything east out there towards solano is only sprinkles or brief brief rain. but better opportunity is on the coast or areas north of san francisco. south of that looks more like a warm day. the low is just too far offshore. i mean, it's even retrograding by that i mean it's moving more towards the southwest. and you can see the airflow coming up from this is just a little bit too far away from us. but if you're north, better opportunity for rain. you can see that south southeast breeze making for a mild pattern . half moon bay is 59. mountain view is 58, hayward's 58 degrees, a little cooler to the north, mor
