station. it's not a thruway. everybody knows you're going to stop and eventually stop there. did they lose situational awareness? was there a medical situation on board? was there a technical problem? i've got say, i think that they've also got to continue to ask, was there any hint of an intentional act? and the only way you'll find that out is by interviewing the crew and downloading the black box data that, of course, should be on that train. they're going to want to talk to the engineer, really very similar questions to what you may have seen in the movie "sully" which the ntsb says was an unfair characterization of their work but it was accurate in that they proceed and go through every investigation and asking the same detailed questions about the crew, the pilot and the engineer. have they been drinking? do they have marital problems? have they been sleeping enough? et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. they'll build that entire narrative so they can try to figure out what happened. >> tom c
