new at 6:00 tonight our syma chowdhry is live at bartram high and syma you talked with the teacher who was knocked out. >> reporter: that is right, chris. the 68 year-old teacher is still recovering tonight after he said a student picked him up and body slammed him at school last week, now officials held a rally today saying that the school needs more staffing to prevent this kind of violence and they need parent to be just as outraged to do something about their child's behavior. city officials, school staff and philadelphia teachers union held a anti violence rally outside of the trouble bartram high school wednesday afternoon. thinks after a teacher was attack by a student last week making it third assault begins a staff member in the month. >> they are going to school on a daily basis fearing they will get knock upside their head. >> reporter: last weeks assault went viral after students took pictures and video. victim, a 68 year-old substitute teacher from liberia. he said the 18 year-old that attacked him was not supposed to be in his class and being inappropriate with the female

"eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry is live in center city with that story, syma, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, nicole. it is round two to remove this famous pnb letters, now, it has been an iconic part of the philadelphia sky line for more than 50 years, but back in august, crew is a tempted to take down the 12 letters using a helicopter but only managed to remove three letters. each letter is about 16 feet tall and are in such poor shape which is why they were being removed to begin with but during the first attempts, crews learned the condition of the letters were in worse shape then originally thought so they actually had to stop. now they will be back today with a better plan in place to safely remove the nine remaining letters. now this plan also needs lots of road closures in our area this morning. we're talking about 15th street between arch and chestnut. that will be closed. market street from 13th to 16th. and broad street from arch down to chestnut street. obviously lots of crews will be here, there will be a crane set up, they will be trying it with a heli

"eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry is live in center city with more, syma, you saw it all go down, right. >> reporter: i did, it is much more quieter now you then it was earlier. taking a look behind me one south broad street that high rise is looking a little name new because letters pnb, have been removed. now, crews tried to do this back in august and they managed to get three letters off on the south side of the building and then they realized that the letters were in bad shape so they had to try again, second time is a charm. so now we are looking at video of what it looked like when a helicopter crew was hovering over the building removing the letters, within by one. they removed the p, the n, and b, in that order. they went to the north side removed those letters in opposite way, and then they came on the west side and took down the letters. so now there is in more, pnb letters on top of the building, and there is a lot of road closures because the helicopter was bringing them down one by one near 15th and market street. so we still have a lot have of road closures in this

"eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry has more on disturbing allegations. >> i believe there is ar men like brian meehan. >> reporter: district attorney seth williams used harsh words to describe the allegations against the center city attorney. fifty-six year-old brian meehan is facing several charges, including sexual assault of a 14 year-old girl, allegedly forced into prostitution by a couple, who were the lawyer's clients. this happened back in march of 2012. williams said that a germantown couple living on west harvey street knew the victim from the neighborhood. >> the girl told police that she had been recruited by couple to have sex with men for money. and they would beat her and threaten to kill her if she would try to leave them. >> reporter: teenager says she was sent to more than 20 men a week during a four week period, before being sold to a couple in camden for $300. the d.a. says that meehan is just one of the many alleged johns who assaulted her. police say he a had girl come to his office on 16th and jfk boulevard, several times. a spokesperson person from the la
