"today in the bay's" bob redell, joining us live. i know the mayor of san francisco is issuing her own order. >> reporter: mayor london breed of san francisco is warning people to keim your social distance for one of the city's most popular parks could be shutting down. we're talking about delores park. san francisco police chief bill scott says this past weekend a lot of people hung out at the park and did not practice their social distancing technique. we're talking about staying away from each other by measures of six feet or greater. and the city is reminding people it's not okay to gather in large groups. san francisco plans to keep an eye out for crowds in all parks and outdoor space this is week. along the san mateo coastline hundreds were in violation of the stay-at-home order. police say between friday and sunday they contacted over 1,400 people. of those they ordered almost 300 to leave the area because they traveled more than ten miles from their homes for recreational purposes in violation of the order. eight people were g

"today in the bay"'s jackie is reporting. it would be so exciting to go to the dmv, jackie? >> reporter: 13 field offices back open for business, and if you had to cancel an appointment because of the pandemic, they are getting those reschedules. and things will look a lot different at the dmv and all dmv's across the state, and customers will have to wear a mask and stay six feet away while in line, and you can also wait outside and get a text when your time is up, and entry into the building will be metered. customers may experience extended wait times, and they expands expanding online services, so check that out before coming to a field office. if your license has expired, for driver's license that have expired they pushed most of those back until july 1st. >>> bart unveils a newly revised budget, among the changes eliminating 19 of the bart officers. bart is dealing with a 90% drop in revenues, and its trains are cleaner. the agency is rolling out a new campaign to let riders know they are going the extra mile to keep th

you're watching "today in the bay." >>> 6:54. welcome back to "today in the bay." a look at the stories we're following today. >>> happening today, some bay area shelter at home rules will be relaxed. changes are happening in these six counties you're seeing here in red. as far as the other three solano county is allowing some outdoor activities with restrictions. sonoma and napa have eased some restrictions. what's allowed under the new shelter at home rules. construction projects, more real estate activity but not open houses. outdoor businesses like nurseries and landscaping will be back in business. limited daycare, summer camps and other programs for kids whose parents can't go back to work just yet -- or who can't stay a the north bay a new teste is opening including one in solano valley. the city of san jose is partnering with verily, google's sister company, to open a site at police athletic field stadium. it will open on mondays, wednesdays and fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. up to 250 tests will be available on those days. tests are available to anyone

a couple spots in the inland east bay as well as the north bay that could reach up to 70 degrees todayorm system that we've seen to the north moves a little bit clos closer so we're looking at spotty rain over the north bay. as we go hour by hour we see hit-or-miss showers continue today, tonight and into the day tomorrow. we're still going to see a chance of some of those light showers moving through, and then more measurable rain possible for the north bay and the santa cruz mountains. then after that we're expected to dry out and our forecast shows that we're going to see up to about a tenth of an inch of rain for most of us. especially if you're not in the north bay. we're looking at temperatures that will be warming up on friday. we reach the peak up to 80 degrees and cool down by the end of the weekend. mike, you've been watching the roads. what's going on out there? >> we have now for the fourth morning in a row seen more slowing and we'll take you out to the maps. be careful. there will be oil and grease making things slippery. look at the slowing. off the merge, more traffic v

"today in the bay's" kris sanchez is live in campbell with what we can expect from the south bay. exciting news, kris. >> reporter: yeah, marcus. the signs are up, open now, curbside delivery, we've missed you, all up and down downtown campbell. retailers are definitely ready for what they hope will be an influx of customers. the owner of one store chain is launching curbside pick yum for online sales and face time shopping trips at this campbell location, santa clara county. with stores in different counties which all entered phase two at different times, it has been a challenge. in san jose a boutique owner says the shelter order forced them to be creative and fast. >> it definitely pushed us to do online sooner, which we did. there are a lot of vendors closed, and some are coming back right now. we can't even really buy or get our merchandise we ordered. our store is not the store we planned to have for spring, but we are getting more things in and have things online. >> reporter: so even with the online sales right now overall sales down 86%. she says she's keeping her business

sunday afternoon is better rain in the south bay. this will be terribly heavy but this is a slow marcher. we will get a decent rain amount from this, particularly in the north bay. that covered sunday, but monday is a little bit different. we don't have that organized line anymore on monday, but what we have are scattered, pop up showers that can appear randomly in the bay area. some could be in the form of et of those that will bring you a brief downpour and possibly small hail, but the chances of that are relatively low for monday. as we look at the rainfall totals on here, here's the rain for tonight in the north bay as we at in the sunday rain, you can see it is bay area wide with have your rain north. we have a little bit of rain sunday in the south bay. by the time we finished we could pick up as much as a half inch of rain and a little bit more in some locations of the north bay. it will clear out pretty quick, and by tuesday we are done before we warm back up. by the end of next week it is like this never happened, sunny and

you can see clouds in the sky as we look across the bay bridge and the east bay. temperatures are in the low to mid 50s. concord is 56, oakland is 57 and also san francisco. livermore is 54 and it is 51 for santa rosa. here is high def doppler. it is quiet for the most part. the green across parts of the south are ground clutter but you can see offshore where we are tracking more showers just off the coast to our left for two our west. through our day, we're looking at a cloudy start this morning in spots, patchy fog for parts of the north bay and a spotty shower is a possibility especially for the north bay. we have drier, warmer weather ahead on friday and saturday and then tracking stronger storm systems through the end of the weekend. here is what you can expect. a few more showers are possible. especially for the north bay. and through friday into most of saturday, we are going to see more sunshine and a brief warm- up with the ridge of high pressure and if you look, that pressure system is going to be moving in by the end of the weekend into early next week.
