i'm tori campbell. the long-awaited triple murder trial of edwin ramos is underway. the illegal immigrant is accused of fatally shooting tony bologna and his two sons nearly four years ago. allie rasmus is live to explain what is happening in court today. allie? >> reporter: what's happening now is the very early stages of the case. the attorneys in the case tell us there are as many as 1300 potential jurors in the pool and they started to whittle down the pool this morning. when we got here at 9:00 a.m., some were waiting to clear the security. the first of the jurors for this case entered this morning. another group is coming in this afternoon. once they are selected, they will decide the fate of edwin ramos. he faces three counts of murder for the 2008 shootings of tony bologna, his 20-year-old son michael and his 16-year-old son mathew were shot and killed in 2008. ramos was charged in the killing the -- killles. prosecutors say he shot the three mistaking them for a gun rival. ramos was a minor but he was not turned over to immigration. san francisco has changed
