tracy?>> jessica, thanks. back to that breaking news we're following out of france. a truck attack in nice has killed at least 84 people and wounded dozens of others. the trucks loaded with weapons and hand grenades barreled down a street, mowing bown bastille day revelers. police shot and killed the truck driver. france is under a state of emergency and will stay on high alert for at least the next three months. nbc 10's matt delucia is live in the digital operations center. >> french president francois hollande says it was a terror attack. president barack obama is condemning the terror in france as well, offering thoughts and prayers to those injured and killed. the video may be troubling to you but it shows what happened. this is the truck driving through nice. the white truck plows into a crowd. families were celebrating bastille day at the time. this happened just as the fireworks show ended. the attack happened a little before 11:00 local time, about 5:00 p.m. our time. the death toll
