today united airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing after a co-pilot lost consciousness mid-flight. the plane was headed from houston to san francisco but was diverted to albuquerque new mexico. the co-pilot did regain consciousness and was able to walk off the plane. this all comes as we're learning employer about the american airlines pilot who passed away during a flight from phoenix to boston. 57-year-old michael johnston was from utah. his wife says his passion was flying. johnston's family believes he suffered a heart attack behind the controls. >> as far as we knew in perfect health when he left yesterday he seemed perfectly fine. he said he'd spent the last week couple of weeks working on losing weight had lost about 10 pounds and said i feel better than i felt in a long in a long time. >> these two incidents in two days raises concern about the health of airline pilots. captain sully sullenberger security consultant says pilots undergo strict health checks. >> every airline pilot in the country is required to undergo medical exams by faa designated examiner a do
