the back side of the bloomingdale's in the westfield shopping center. this body discovered behind a set of doors in a stairwell attached to bloomingdale's. police are only telling us that they, yes, believe it was a homicide but not saying how this person was killed and not even saying who she was except for that he was 30 years old. obviously no arrests as of yet. that's one reason why police have been reviewing security footage. there are several security cameras in and outside of the property to try to give them a better sense of who this person was and how they were murdered. now, we did hear from bloomingdale's employees. they say that their management sent them an e-mail indicating the murder victim is not a co-worker, not an employee of the store. and advised them not to talk about what happened. people who work in the mall are now avoiding stairwells and pairing up when they have to come outside. but as i mentioned, in spite of what happened yesterday, the mall is still open for business. >> makes you feel unsafe to come shopping. >> it's terrib

westfield security is working with san francisco police after two customers here were robbed and one beaten just before 8:30 last night. they were on the fourth floor working on laptops when one suspect distracted them while another grabbed a laptop and took off. >> the two victims ran after the suspect and then the other victim noticed that another suspect came up and took his laptop and cell phone that had been left on the table. >> reporter: the officer said in all, there were five muggers, teenagers and one of the victims was punched in the face. in a statement, westfield management said the recent incident is not acceptable and that significant resources continue to be devoted to security arrangements. earlier this month, a man was attacked and robbed in a restroom here by at least three men. and just two days before that, a man's body was found in a mall stairwell in now what is being called a suspicious death. police say because this is a busy area, it is easy for criminals to target shoppers. which worry some we talked to today. >> it is awful that you have to be on guard con
