the meteorologist kathy orr is on the cbs-3 sky deck tracking the latest for us, wind picking up out there, kathy. >> you noticed a gust of wind just blew through we are talking about a front making its way through the delaware valley, wind kicking up and i can feel the cold change moving in. temperatures around the region have fallen but not too badly so far. take a look at numbers across the delaware valley. right new in philadelphia we are at 29 but wind is making it feel colder. twenty-eight in allentown. nineteen in the poconos. the this is coming our way an arctic front, squall line of snow showers moving through state college and is moving fairly quickly rather. another line moving through baltimore and washington at this point. it will be here rather soon between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 it will move through the region and midnight be off shore. time line thinks evening once again, we expect snow showers some heavy, coat to go an inch in spots, reduced visibility when these heavier band move through and definite the liz slick spots overnight. that wind behind this front is brutal,

kathy. >> timing will be everything as far as the temperatures are concerned.pitation falls we have another issue it is the fog and as we look out our weather window typically we see the beautiful skyline of philadelphia. not tonight. visibility is down and poconos only three terms of a mile. in philadelphia it is down eight tenches of a mile the same in atlantic city. trenton 1 mile visibility and as we take a closer look in our suburbs northeast philadelphia and quakertown down to half mile visibility. along 95 through northeast philadelphia you are going to be seeing reduced visibility as well. now, on storm scan3 we're seeing in rain filling in our radar for philadelphia we'll start off as rain as we take closer look in the poconos seeing freezing rain and some sleet and as that colder air moves towards the south, we will see a change over from light rain to freezing rain lehigh valley and northern and western suburbs even possibly philadelphia by tomorrow morning's commute. still 37 in the city. 35 in allentown. but below freezing in the poconos. winter we

meteorologist kathy orr is live on the cbs3 sky deck. the temperatures are dropping and you're tracking when the snow an whole lot more. >>> it is a triple threat. the first threat will be the snow with this arctic front behind it damaging winds and record cold. so to start tonight we're talking about the cold temperatures. now much wind right now but it is definitely coming on storm scan3 we have a clear sky. the clouds will be creeping in during the overnight and tomorrow. right now, our storm system, our clipper is moving into parts of western pa and western new york. doesn't look like much now but it will especially as it redevelops intensifies off the eastern seaboard. feels like 21 in philadelphia right now. allentown 12 and the poconos already below zero it's a temperatures continue to plunge. winter weather advisory goes into effect tomorrow afternoon through sunday morning for snow and blowing snow one to 3-inches in the advisory area with higher amounts in the poconos. this is what it will look like tomorrow afternoon on our we

meteorologist kathy orr what are you sewing? >> right now we're seeing the snow moving toward the south and east toward the philadelphia area. the clouds are on the increase and on storm scan3 not much going on just yet. but tomorrow morning there will be. it's get a little bit close sr. computer models showing breaking apart little bit during the early morning hours. but i want to show you our high resolution model doesn't look that pretty this is what we look at when we're looking at snow in the short range. so for the over into the and as it gets a l bit closer here's a look at the lehigh valley by about 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00. right through the city and then through south jersey we're seeing that band holding together. so what does that this mean? this means lehigh valley and north and western suburbs between 6am and 9:00 a.m. you'll see light snow passing through. philadelphia even south and east between 8:00 a.m. and 11am some snow showers moving on through. not just flurries but some snow showers. best chance of seeing c
