meteorologist marty coniglio joins us. you had an umbrella yesterday. >> yes, this morning close to freezing in a lot of places. a freeze warning until 9:00 this morning. not a hard freeze but we're going to get into that 29 to 32- places. these are the current readings. we're dropping down there. bear in mind we have another hour and-a-half, two hours of cooling to go. a lot of us are going to slip below freezing. freeze warnings out for the front range, southeastern colorado all the way to wyoming and nebraska. several areas in western colorado especially the glenwood springs area and wine country, near grand junction, freeze warnings in that part of the state as well. frost advisories out on the eastern plains, yuma, kit carson and cheyenne that also until 9:00 this morning. for us it's very cool now. we'll just drop down to near 31, 32 degrees briefly, then start warming right back up in to the 40s by the end of the rush hour. mid-60s by the end of the day. a a nice way to round out the week. >>> a few more people gett

let's talk to marty coniglio. it's not really unbearably cold out there, marty, but the plants are a little sensitive during the cold. >> it's a banana plant. we have a couple of issues going on this morning, tarhonda. we have the cold temperatures and we have some fog in northern colorado, especially in the valleys and we'll cover that in great detail here in the next couple of minutes. but we are going to burn that off for you during the morning this morning, but we have some dense fog. less than a mile visibility up from eastern boulder county up through loveland, fort collins and over towards greeley. we are going to get sunny here during the course morning. and there's the fog here early on. it's going to burn off during the morning. everybody gets sun later in the day. so even though it looks like an overcast, really crumby day right now in northern colorado, that's going to clear off, we'll end up in the mid-60s, pretty uniformly here at lower terrain, with 50s in the mountains. so there's that nice low pock
