joining me now is nbc news weekend anchor ali velshi has been talking to voters in colorado, good toalk to you, you've been getting the pulse of the people out there, what are you hearing from voters in colorado? >> reporter: it's interesting, going out every week to a different swing state, i was in colorado and i was talking to these voters on saturday and sunday and of course this news broke with "the new york times" talking about donald trump's taxes. i went back to three of my panelists. i talked to them via zoom. here's what they told me. >> here we are faced with this man who's supposedly in charge of our nation, supposed to be setting a good example, who brags -- who has bragged for a long time about not taking any taxes now it ee's been revealed paid all $750 in taxes in the first year of his presidency. we paid 35 times than that. >> if it's real, i don't think it's big deal. how his presidency has impacted my personal finances, you know, i get to keep more of my money, i'm paying less than taxes, my 401(k) is growing at an unprecedented rate. for me this presidency works.
