abc 7 news reporter carolyn tyler joins us with a look at what's going on. >> reporter: two pilots walkedminor injuries. the incident happened just before 3:00 this afternoon. we want to zoom in so that you can see that orange helicopter on its side on the rocks by the coast guard hangar. it is the same kind of helicopter viewers might be familiar with called a dolphin these used in cliff rescues. let's take another angle this one from sky 7 hd. this pilot and co-pilot were conducting routine maintenance flight. they were doing a hovering maneuver preparing to land when something went awry some sort of malfunction occurred and the chopper crash landed on its side just missing the bay. there was no noticeable effect on airline passengers at sfo. but some of them did notice the commotion while they were landing. we have some audio right now of a conversation between the air traffic control tower and the commercial pilot who wanted to know exactly what was happening. >> there are several rescue vehicles coming at once. all rescue vehicles are clear to pass. >> what's going on? >> a coast gua
