comcast business. today in the wildfires down at southern california. but tonight, the fight is far from over, with yet another round of strong winds potentially hitting that region next week. the l.a. county coroner reporting 27 people have now died in all of the fires. 31 are reported missing currently today. the fire in pacific palisades is 22% contained at more than 23,000 acres. altadena the eden fire, at 55% containment, it has burned more than 14,000 acres. evacuation orders are affecting more than 82,000 homes. now, the good news is the crews are seeing little to no growth in the size of the fires. they're taking advantage of this time to strengthen those containment lines. and cal fire is urging people to clear all the brush within 200ft of their homes to prevent new fires from starting. evacuation orders are still in effect for thousands. officials say some will have to wait at least another week to return to their neighborhood, as crews clear toxic waste and repair damage to the infrastructure. in some cases, the work is on hold, where teams
