darcy, what's the feeling on the streets this morning? >> reporter: well, oddly enough it feels very calm so far this morning. we're live right outside of city hall. if you take a look here, we have a national guard positioned here as well as married state police, some fencing has been erected around city hall here to protect the building. we're not sure if there was any kind of threat made to city hall or if this is simply being done as precaution to make sure that nothing does, in fact, happen. we've seen a lot of devastation since yesterday, like you said. this violence broke out after freddie gray's funeral. and various businesses were set on fire. there was looting. there was rioting. more than a dozen police officers were injured. some of them remain in the hospital this morning. a couple of dozen protesters were arrested. but a lot of criminal acts were conducted yesterday. and a lot of those people remain at large. people responsible for fires, people responsible for looting stores. so there's a lot of police work still to be done
