let's check weather and traffic beginning with first alert meteorologist darren peck. are honing in on the timing and the track of the next storm. >> yes and it's through the heart of the afternoon. that's when the heavier rain starts. i think you will notice light showers this morning. give it about 7:00 or 8:00 and maybe we will notice leading edge of the showers have come on shore. on first alert doppler, we've got rain. it's not incredibly heavy. when we put it in the futurecast, you see the wall of green. light showers certainly through late morning. the screen lights up in yellow in the early afternoon and that shows us now we've gotten to the heart of the system. 1:00, 2:00 in the afternoon today all the way through about tomorrow morning, it's not going to hold up. it's not downpours. most of the rain should be light or moderate. it's duration. it's got time on its side. there may be an occasional thunderstorm mixed in but the majority should be fairly light to moderate. we have looked to monday and nothing has really changed. tomorrow afternoon, this is friday
