duffy: thank you, mr. speaker. i want to thank chairman luetkemeyer for all his work on this bill, h.r. 5143. i just -- as we enter into this debate, i think it's important o look at who supports what. you look at state insurers, insurers in states like wisconsin, they've look at mr. luetkemeyer's bill and they love it. they think it's a great bill. because it protects the american state-based model. if you're a large global insurer, you don't like this bill. because you want one global international standard that you have to comply with. so we're here fighting for the little guy, those little insurance companies that dot all of our states that serve our communities and our families and the opposition standing with the large insurers who have been more concerned about this bill than the little guy. which goes to my point. i'm concerned that the federal reserve and treasury could enter into an international framework that undermines the u.s. system in favor of, again, this europe-centric model that's inconsist went

congressman sean duffy... who was recently named a member president elect donald trump's white house transition team... says there's no evidence the election results were tampered with... calling the recount efforts a ploy by democrats to try to change the outcome of the votes to favor clinton. jill stein raised $3.5 million in total for her presidential campaign. and shes over $6 million now for the recount. the donors to her campaign are hillary clinton donors. wisconsin green party leader george martin says the money raised reflects the single party. thats a broad spectrum of people who are donating to this campaign. for democrats... the recount serves as assurance... that the process is working. im not sure the results will actually change, but why not check it out? and i think the more that republicans protest, and stop this count from happening, trying and stop this double check, it makes me more interested in what the results are, in what theyre trying to hide. the three parties do agree on one thing...
