she has been focusing on the earthquake in humboldt county.w for myself and others, we are all thinking, that happened 200 miles north of us, what about right here in the bay area? >> exactly. there is a good probability. the usgs put out that there is a 72% chance that within the next 20 years, we could experience a 6.7 or greater magnitude earthquake. to put that into perspective, we need to start thinking ahead. this could happen to us. it happened to the lost coast yesterday in the early morning hours. now they are seeing scattered showers in the forecast on thursday. the showers will also push in here to the bay. that will impact the recovery process up there . we are talking about boots on the ground dealing with wet conditions. they are trying to recover. the showers will track off into san francisco as we go through the late, evening hours tomorrow. it does clear up on friday, leaving us with partly cloudy skies in time for christmas eve and christmas around the corner. as far as earthquake, there were dozens and dozens of aftershocks
