so, katie ledecky is in.egler, unfortunately, did not qualify, finishing eighth in her heat, 21st overall, and she told us that she's been battling the flu for the last five days. so, just some bad luck for great falls native kate ziegler, but 15-year-old katie ledecky will be moving on, she will be racing again. and recently, actually, i got a chance to catch up with her mom, mary jen ledecky, who said she's just soaking up this whole olympic experience. i had to ask her if she allowed herself to think even for a minute what she would do if her rising sophomore at stone ridge high school actually brings home a meldal from her summer vacation. >> i don't know. we had not -- we haven't thought about that. first of all, if she would get a medal, i guess she would walk around the arena with it, and she would certainly have an opportunity to show all of her friends, if they wanted to see it. i don't know what we would do. that is something we have not thought of. >> reporter: mary jen ledecky, katie ledecky's mot
