i'm kris sanchez. >> and i'm scott mcgrew. we're following this developing story on the east coast. we're told sheen she will be charged for helping them break out. over a couple months she established a relationship with escapee richard matt. in the end she was not the getaway driver. the search is intensifying for matt and another escape inmate. >>> they're zeroing in on a wooded area where a bloodhound picked up the scent of one or both of those inmates. nbc's jay gray has more. >> reporter: after days of questioning, senior government officials now confirm the senior instructor in the tailor shop had planned to be the getaway driver, but apparently on the day of the escape she got cold sheet. she thought it was love. >> she could be the country girl that got sweet-talked by some city guy. >> reporter: overnight the search intensified, a tip leading officers to this wooded area, about three miles from the prison, and very close to the manhole that swept matt apparently climbed through during their escape. >> we won't stop until we have these convicts captured. >> reporter: invest

. >> i'm kris sanchez. happened at the bmw dealership in san francisco right near the intersection of van ness and howard. nbc bay area has more live. the thieves actually tried to steal a different car first? >> reporter: that's right. first, in the last half-hour, police now say they've arrested a 37-year-old man for this burglary here from this morning. he actually crashed the car two miles from here, ran away. an hour later, police responded to a domestic dispute, and that's when they arrested him. they determined he was their suspect. you're looking at the second of the crime scenes this morning where the mop-up is still happening. krauss had to clean up broken -- crews had to clean up broken glass. the man drove out of this window here. you can only imagine the damage with this three-foot drop. it started on the other side of this dealership. it was the first and unsuccessful attempt at stealing out of this bmw of san francisco showroom. the black 2014 bmw, 528 sedan, too wide to drive through the fro
