good morning to you laura and marcus. chp tells two men drove up in a sedan at the bay bridge toll plaza, demanding they give cash and took off. as you mentioned, the toll plaza took a suspect as well, took their photo, video, surveillance images that chp is putting out there for the world to see, in case you recognize the car or the driver. you are looking at a black mercedes s550 sedan with paper plates from carmax. chrome accents have been added to the vehicle. inside the car, two men. the driver was wearing blue or purple latex gloves. the driver and the passenger are african-american. they first robbed the toll plaza around 4:00 yesterday, then the bay bridge at around 2:00 yesterday afternoon. chp is not saying how much money was taken or whether or not a weather was used or displayed. our understanding is both toll takers were not hurt during the crimes. you might recall in late 2015, almost two years ago when two men used a gun to rob the bay and two other bridges. we are talking four robberies back then. they dem

steve, good morning to you. >> reporter: good morning to you, marcus and laura. quite a wake-up call for folks in the area. we are on the corner where three streets meet up in san francisco. i want to show you where that car drove into the home here on the corner. i can see the power is still on in the area. the traffic lights are still on. that's good news. let's go ahead and show you video of when this all took place. you are seeing here the scene when it took place at 12:30 a.m. the new information we are getting from san francisco fire is the car went into the home around that time. you can see in the video, the people are able to talk to them. they are in good shape and able to get out on their own from that car. still, san francisco fire sent rescue squads out to look at the building, which is uninhabitable after the accident. the car hit a circuit line that shut off power to a home next door. that doesn't appear to be the case as we stand here. some residents complained of odors and smells. pg&e says there aren't issues to that regard. live, the house is b

good morning, bob. >> reporter: good morning kris and marcus. we are here in fremont mission and 262, the onramp to northbound 680. come this afternoon, 680, the lights will be crammed with cars with workers trying to get home. according to the transportation commission, this commute is number four, the fourth worst in the bay area and is actually up from number six the last time the study came out. this is an annual study. they found traffic congestion during rush hour increased 80%, 8-0, since 2010. if you were to look at 2010, the average commuter spent 1.9 minutes stuck in traffic 35-mile-an-hour or less. compare it to last year and the number jumps, 3.5 minutes, people stuck in traffic 35 miles per hour or less. we listed the worst. the worst is the afternoon commute trying to get from 101 to the bay bridge. number two on the list happens to be the worst morning commute. that's commuters trying to get from hercules and the east bay to the east shore expressway down and across the bay bridge. this corridor is the only route that stays conges

>> reporter: good morning to you, laura and marcus.er today, it will be this afternoon, this independent investigator will present its result to the school board to let the district know how well or how poorly it handled an alleged sexual assault of a frebman girl here by a class mail who happened to be a junior at the time. this goes all according to the palo alto weekly. the school district first became aware of this alleged assault last year back in 2016, but as we reported back in may, barents became outraged. they were very upset when they learned the district had allowed the boy to remain at palo alto high, not only half having been accused of this sexual assault in a campus rest room, but also having been convicted of another assault off of campus. that boy, who was a minor eventually level palo alto high on his own the board will be meeting later today at the district offices, you the public can address the trustees at 4:00. this will be before they go into a closed session to read the investigative report to learn about the re
