reggie aqui. >> thanks, spencer. new at six a bay area woman arrested for embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from work gets arrested for it again at her next job. that story is coming up. >> but first, a marine investigation into a fighter jet crash. how an f-35 flew for 11 minutes without a pilot before crash landing in the $100 million fighter jet was lost in the skies over south carolina last year. the f-35 flew unmanned for 11 minutes after the pilot ejected. the plane eventually crashed into the woods. the pilot landed in the backyard of a home in north charleston and asked the homeowner to call 911. >> we have a military jet crash. i'm the pilot. we need to get a rescue rolling. i'm not sure where the airplane is. it would have crash landed somewhere. i ejected the pilot said his helmet display stopped working, and he lost communication with the control tower. >> officials say the pilot made a, quote, inappropriate decision to eject. their investigation found he incorrectly diagnosed an out-of-control

reggie. good morning to you. we are at the dublin civic center right now, which is one of four vote centers set up throughout dublin and it's one of dozens you'll find all over alameda county. county election bosses say 100 vote centers are staying open through tomorrow. over the weekend, we found many voters getting it done early as alameda county sheriff's deputies stood watch. so far here in alameda county. the registrar of voters tells us they've had about 300,000 people already vote. he says that represents 32% of voters so far. but he expects some close races may not be decided tuesday night. >> it's probably going to take us a couple of weeks uh. i'm estimating, you know, we could be looking at about 400,000 plus votes coming in by mail on election night. that's a lot. >> the number of police officers feels a little like something is wrong. like it's a little overboard. if i'm honest. but seeing that there is police presence makes me confident that i can come here and vote safely. >> e

abc7 news anchor reggie aqui spoke with the founder of bay area based real service dogs.anny kimbrell, and met his dog, penny. >> hi, penny. penny is ten years old. have you had penny? the whole time? >> yeah, i've had penny for. well, she. i got her when she was two. she is a rescue. she was actually a fallout from the service dog program. she was just a little too excited. a little too friendly, nothing bad, but had trouble just settling sometimes. but now that she's older, it's not a problem at all. >> i just love her so much. and also thank you for your service. thank you. tell us a little bit about where you served and for how long. >> so in 2003, i was in afghanistan. i served with the 82nd airborne. i did three years of service and afterwards i did martial arts for a long time. and then i started doing dog training after that. >> so the awesome thing that you're doing is to be able to take veterans like yourself who may need some help with a service animal, and you're able to train them and tell us what that training is like and what you're offering. some of these
