still have winter weather advisory for the san juans through tonight. and some isolated spots above 11,000 feet. just to underclothes to a foot of snow. out of the moisture that came through just not much making it into northern colorado. here is the guy doing it, upper- level low spinning right into the state. we even had a couple thunderstorms blossoming as it moved into southern colorado. have thunderstorms down there. some of those storms are delivering a half inch to up to an inch of rainfall if you can believe that. so there is some really good rain for some folks. just not here in the northern part of colorado. above that there's still a big jesting pushing up into canada so we still have high-pressure around here and embedded under that jet stream there's a little front coming into california washington and that will be sliding through our neck of the woods on monday any two tuesday. cooling our temperatures down but much like the last couple of storms, the business end of this stays well up to the jet up into canada. so we'll see a cooldown but

down in the san juans, there could be pretty heavy snowfall at times. mainly above 10,000 feet. let's take a look at our winder weather advisory. 4 to 8 inches in the san juans. near 10,000 feet. if you're drive nothing this area, be careful out there. some of these mountain passes could get sloppy. above 11,000 feet could see over a foot of snow. the state. >> typical fall in colorado. they're talking snow. we're talking 72 and 73 for the highs today. should be at 58 and 29. those are the norms for this time of year. 76 and 10 the extremes. 70 in arvada. centennial, 74. highlands ranch, 76 degrees. this is what lauren was talking about. some of this moisture could slowly work up in watch denver. we see the cloudy skies here. every now and then you see a shower sprinkle its way across the area. that's all we'll see out of this. but as we roll it into monday, we might see a shower as well. 65 and 61 right now. south breeze, 13. 21% humidity with a rising barometer. lows tonight mostly in the 30s and 40s over the eastern plains. out west, temperatures in the normal. 60s and 70s fo

this will produce areas and a little snowfall for the san juans, so much so we have a winter weather advisory out. this kicks in at midnight friday lasting till about lunchtime saturday. right now it looks like it's going to be a warm storm. so areas above 10,000 feet have the best bet at releasing some accumulating snow and at that only about 3 to 6 inches, but hey, we'll take whatever we can get. tonight in town we'll go with clear skies down to about 39, extending across the far eastern plains and still looking mild. telluride and carbondale 30s late tonight. by 11:00 we go with clear skies statewide. 8 a.m. grab the shades. you'll notice changes pushing into southwestern colorado by tomorrow afternoon. 4:00, 5:00 the clouds start streaming in, a little rain, stoplight snowfall with the heaviest moisture -- some light snowfall with the heaviest moisture moving in saturday evening into central mountains or northern mountains. if anything, we'll just watch a few more clouds saturday and slightly cooler temperatures. tomorrow pretty much a carbon copy of today, plenty of sunshine ear
