out of the north bay, san rafael traffic toward san francisco. 55 degrees, mostly clear in san rafael and there is a view of san francisco. fog free and currently 58. over toward oakland, the same picture at just a few patches of low clouds and a few spots but other wise 57 in oakland and into san jose, 60 degrees with partly cloudy skies and then tomorrow increasing clouds out of a system that will bring a lot of rain to the pacific north west and eventually late tomorrow a chance of seeing some rain dropping into the north bay. so morning temperatures, 40 to near 50. patchy low clouds and fog possible in the inland valleys for the morning and then increasing clouds through the afternoon. but still a mild day. mid to upper 60s and south bay mild with over cast conditions in the afternoon and upper 60s in the tri-valley and peninsula temperatures mid-60s with patches of low clouds for the morning and increasing high clouds for the afternoon. san francisco highs climbing into the low 60s for the most part a dry finish to the weekend, exception to the rule here, up toward sonoma county.

you can see around the richmond/san rafael bridge a little wet there. the east bay freeway, 4, and when it comes in contact with 680. up around the north bay just some light rain right now. no flooding concern right there. in fact, the extra humidity and extra rain will help tamp things out if there's anything left. the heart of the storm is still well up to the north. we're waiting for that part to come in. right now we have a juicy southerly flow. that's why we're going to have rain this morning, becoming more scattered as we head towards noon just because the air is going to be so humid and every time it bumps into one of our mountains that could lift it enough to create a scattered shower and even some sprinkles. as we head to the evening commute, you can see the green tapers a little bit and then we'll turn our attention to the north because this is where the second storm comes in. some steadier rain developing by 10:00. you can see it in the heart of the bay when we wake up at 8:00 tomorrow morning. and then it exits the south bay at about 2:00. s
