shelley: thanks for that update. tonight, five high school students who lost their lives when hit by a wrongway driver in vermont are being remembered. tonight at a school in vermont, hundreds came together to honor all five teenagers. one of the victims was 15-year-old janie cozzi, sophomore at kimball union academy in meriden. the community i the families and grieving the lives of the teens taken too soon. >> on sunday afternoon, my daughter, bailey, turned to my wife and i and said dad, what can we do? shelley: the driver of the truck that hit the teens is in critical condition. he could face five counts of murder if he survives. prosecutors say after the crash, he stole a police cruiser and caused another series of collisions, leaving several others injured. million dollars. tonight, we now know the man who was killed while allegedly speeding away from police. state police say an officer tried to pull over 59-year-old kevin morong of keene in stoppard last night. police say morong sped off on route 9, racing thro

go shelley: i'm shelley walcott. the school superintendent says parents were notified about the situation today. it was keene high school teacher diane delisle's co-workers who first alerted police she was allegedly abusing drugs. she found a cutoff straw, a pill grinder and a small bag of powder in possession while she someone allegedly removed her purse from the classroom before police could get to it. interviews and use of surveillance video and today an arrest warrant was issued for delisle and she turned herself into police. school officials say parents were notified today but they offered few other details. >> we are aware of a situation involving one of our staffmembers over at the high school and we have taken administrative action to minimize any disruptions an ongoing police investigation and we will fully cooperate with investigators as requested. shelley: delisle whas was charged with one felony account. police said she removed evidence from the scene to disrupt the investigation. delisle turned herself i

good evening, i'm shelley walcott. the accident closed a portion of i-93 south while rescue crews responded. wmur's jean mackin joins us live from the state police barracks in bedford with what we're learning at this hour. jean: state police are investigating what happened just after 6:30 tonight out on it appears that several vehicles were involved in the crash on 93 south. it was just before the 293 split in heavy traffic. one car ended up in the median. state police on scene indicated that one person in that vehicle did not survive the crash. while several ambulances were called to the scene, it is still unclear if others were hurt in the collision. first responders and investigators closed three left lanes of i-93 south. they were at this hour, we don't know yet what led to the crash and the name of the person who died has not been released yet tonight. state police are investigating the fatal crash and will be releasing more information. jean mackin, wmur news 9. shelley: thanks for that update. tonight, five high

shelley walcott just spoke to state officials about the situation. shelley: the department of environmental services had tested the well water at the kingston fire department as a precaution and today they announced a surprising result. kingston, new hampshire fire department showed elevated concentrations of pfoa's. the town of kingston requested the department of environmental services test the well water because the town was making water from that well available to residents who needed water because of the current drought. two separate rounds of testing showed that the well contained 140 parts per trillion of pfoa as well as the presence of additional pfc's. >> the pfoa and the department are the, this wasn't an investigation that was initiated because of a sort of known contamination. d.e.s. working with the town of kingston went out and tested the well at the fire department because the town had offered it to residents that were being impacted by the drought. shelley: in the interim the department of environmental services says people in kingsto

shelley: in manchester, shelley josh j.: people are going out of their gord with snow and cooler weather today. here's a look at your unofficial high temperatures, only making it into the 30's in northern new hampshire, and the 40's elsewhere. the highest we could muster in concord was 47. and mid to upper 40's everywhere else. 43 in keene and lebanon. 41 in plymouth. and the winds of course have been gusting as well, making these temperaturee your current temperatures a few degrees lower than what i just showed you where we maxed out today and there's the winds, these are the current wind gusts from 15 to 25 miles per hour. and they gradually settle down through the night tonight and through the day tomorrow, but tomorrow it will still be breezy, but not as windy as what we saw today. here's a sneak peek at what it might look like tomorrow, 5 to 15, maybe 20-mile per hour gusts clouds, this is all being caused by the wind bumping into the mountains. unlike a thunderstorm, for example, that moves across the screen, notice how this is stationary, and the reason for that is the winds come
