good evening, everyone, take a look at live doppler 7 right now. we have a combination of fog near the coast and bay and clear skies inland. i do want to turn your attention to what's left of gordon. it's a tropical depression and the gulf coast definitely still getting some rain. although the intensity of the rain that has tapered a bit, they will continue to see heavy rainfall causing more flooding problems as this system continues to move towards the midwest. now, rainfall potential could be up to a foot when all is said and done, little bit more excessive rain and flash flooding expected this that region. here in the bay area, just really comfortable weather, it is breezy, a good delta breeze out of the southwest to 30 miles an hour, in fairfield, and it is cooler, just about everywhere this afternoon, as we do have a deeper marine layer. here's what's going to happen as we head into tomorrow, you're going to notice the temperature comes up a little bit and then it's even warmer, i just call it hotter for antioch, 95 degrees on friday, holding

i want to show you the live doppler image of tropical storm florence right now. and i'm looping it the last 12 hours. you can see to show you actually thats it barely moving. and because it's almost stationary it pulse all the moisture from the atlantic and to continue dumpinggh parts of we had one area swansboro, north carolina, that got over 30 inches of rain process. and also newport got over 2 feet of rain. right now tropical storm florence has winds of about 45-mile-per-hour, only moving at 2-mile-per-hour. it's 40 miles west right now of myrtle beach and going to stay in that area for a while. here are concerns. an additional 5 to 20 inches of rain expected still. with form total attention up to 40 inches. dangerous storm surge. we also have life threatening flash flooding and possible landslide. we are keeping track of that. a and possible tornadoes. we will watch this the next couple days chris. >> and frances the american red cross is organizing relief for those affected by the storm. you can make a $10 donation by texting the word florence to 90999. >>>
