justin quesinberry is live. how is it going? >> reporter: i spoke with a spokesman that says things are mostly back on track. take a look at the boards. you can see that the exceptions are the airports that were most affected by the snowstorm, dc some cancellations and flights delayed to those airports and from those airports. he says it is a fluid situation because those airports are in the process of getting back up and running. there is no firm number as to how many flights are still affected. on a normal day, there are about 500 flights that come in and out of rdu. the airport is getting there. today is an improvement for travelers coming through rdu. over the weekend ice and snow kept most flights out of the air. i talked with a broncos fan that flew to and from denver and an apex woman that had a business trip to new york. >> before we left we tried to cancel our flights because we thought we wouldn't get the work done. they didn't cancel and they were charging us and we said "oh what the heck, let's just go." we had an im
