fox5's matt ackland learned more details about this case at a press today and joins us now with the latest. >> reporter: hi, shawn. these lawyers who came out here today representing the victims says keiser did not do enough to protect them after one victim came forward in 2013 and described what happened to her, that keiser didn't do enough to stop the doctor from practicing. this is earlier today in upper marlboro attorneys representing 12 patients called a news conference in front of the prince george's county courthouse where they filed a civil lawsuit earlier in the day. they claim the sexual misconduct was carried out during medical exams by the anesthesiologist and pain management doctor at keiser offices in largo and in kensington. they claim this all took place from 2010 to 2014. >> during that time t-dr. williams sexually assaulted at least a dozen women and some patients who we don't know of. the dozen women who we know of were courageous enough to step forward. those who we fear, multiple dozens more we suspect unfortunately did not have the courage to step forward and who are

fox's matt ackland has details about this fox5 exclusive. >> reporter: here's a picture of diva.ells us they've had her since she was a puppy and are frantic to get her back. yesterday next door neighbor took diva and her dogs together. she snapped this picture of them. not long after that picture was taken she said she was attacked. >> as they started to beat me up, stomp me and hit me in the face they took diva. >> reporter: she showed me the injuries she sustained. a bruised eye, a swollen mouth and that's not all. >> they crushed my, uh -- crushed my knee. i went to the emergency ward and i was told that i'm going to need surgery. >> reporter: she says a woman and her daughter drove up and simply asked her if all of the dogs were hers. then she heard the motr >> she told her daughter go get one of them dogs. she don't need all them dogs. >> reporter: she said she held onto diva as the girl tried to take her away. then she says mom got out of the car. >> i just don't understand what this world is coming to that a person has to beat up a person and take her dog. >> reporter: ma
