i am reed cowan. our asian-american community has been deeply impacted by recent deadly shootings in half moon bay and southern california, as well. today, we want to have a conversation about how you, at home, are coping and how people affected are coping. the suspect is reportedly said, i did it. he has confessed to the killings. chunli zhao has been charged with seven counts of murder, accused of killing five men and two women. all of them asian or mexican immigrants. in a jailhouse interview, the suspect said that he was not in his right mind when he opened fire. he also reportedly said he had been bullied at work, made to work long hours on the phone, and that his complaints had largely been ignored. a spokesperson for the farm says the farm has no knowledge of any complaints of bullying. we've also dug back and found that in 2013, a coworker of the suspect, ask that the time for a restraining order against him and got it. the coworker claimed he tried to suffocate him with a pillow atenima knife

i am reed cowan. we know that you are dealing with the effects from the storms. cleanup. bay, that's a mudslide. anne makovec is here with how all of us got stuck. >> thankfully, nobody got hurt. but it is a huge mess. you can see they are still working to clean it up in alameda county. the train was traveling to fremont this morning along the swollen alameda creek, next to highway 84. at around 8:45, the train got hit by mud and debris and slid down the hillside. the train was not seriously damaged and it did not derail. it was stuck about 220 passengers on board. ace had to bring in a second trying to take them back to the pleasanton station. they finally got there at around 1:00 p.m. a viewer sent photos from inside the train. on his way to his job at apple when the hillside slammed into the side of the train. we talked to several passengers. this it was jarring, as you could imagine, but they kept their cool. >> they responded really well. they were very well trained, you know. for the most part, no one really panicked. >> crews are still cleaning up this mudslide. ou

i'm reed cowan . we know it is another first alert weather day. not hard to see why . parts of the bay getting rain. others dealing with messes from flooding and powerful winds. let's take you live outside. gloomy skies, rain in some spots. we understand the storm is not done yet. >> not done with us quite yet. we have some flood warnings and flood advisories that continue. the flood warnings continue until 4:45. that is for parts of the north bay and in the and parts of the east bay. a flood advisory in the solano county goes until 10:00 p.m. let's take a look at first alert doppler . it is not as widespread, not as heavy as we had this morning but there are more showers making their way into the northbay. some pockets of heavier rain between santa rosa and rohnert park . a few pockets of slightly heavier rain for far western portions of contra costa county right over richmond. this activity is sliding toward the east. some showers in the diablo range in the santa cruz mountains just adding more moisture to soil that is already saturated. you can see this band of rain
