delaware county's first ebola task force just wrapped up its first meeting. they say they don't want to create panic, they want to create awareness. but they do understand why people are nervous about this deadly and contagious disease. i asked members of the task force what their goals are. they want to educate the community about the signs and symptoms of ebola, promote preventive measures and work with health care providers and first responders to make sure they know how to properly screen patients and follow cdc guidelines. but is every hospital in delaware county ready to treat an ebola patient? >> delaware county hospitals are all capable to identify an individual and to isolate an individual. as i said, this is an evolving process. there are hospitals which obviously have better capabilities than smaller community hospitals. in the process of putting this task force together, we are going to identify whereç the bt care could be rendered to the individual. >> reporter: right now, if any patient has a fever as well as other symptoms like severe headache

now to our delaware bureau.changes at the wilmington veterans affairs medical center. according to delaware online, they fear it will continue to shrink and could become a branch of the larger philadelphia va hospital. this comes after a reduction in surgical capabilities and other changes. the director of the wilmington va medical center says there have not been any discussions about changing its role or having it fall under the philly hospital. >>> in bucks county, people who rely on a particular food pantry for help may be disappointed later this week. last-minute donations have been pouring into the jesus focus food pantry in southampton since the beginning of the weekend, when its director put out a plea for help on social media, but those groceries they got won't last long. recently, above-average demand has dwindled the supplies there and left many shelves bare. nbc 10 talked with one resident who says the pantry helps put food on his table. >> you want to come to my house, you will see an empty refrigera
