chris, good morning. >> reporter: yeah, good morning, eun. that doctor has been back in the united states a week now after treating ebola patients in the west africa nation of guinea. leaders in new york are trying to reassure the the public they are not at risk. the doctor is identified as 33-year-old dr. craig spencer. noon on thursday he notified the relief group that he works for doctors without borders he was suffering from fever, nausea and fatigue. he was whisked to bellevue hospital in midtown manhattan. since he's been in the states he has not gone back to his job where he is an emergency room physician. the health department said he came down with a 103-degree temperature yesterday morning, which prompted him to come to the hospital. it turns out that he and some friends, along with his fiancee, went to a brooklyn bowling alley the night before he got sick. the fiancee is in quarantine. two other friends being monitored for symptoms. president obama has been notified and briefed. he has spoken with the governor and the mayor from ne
