joce sterman, abc 2 news. >> the father of the boy who didn'tal -- accidentally shot himself has been charged. state police say shawn ice woke up to find her son had a chest wound. according to police the boy had been playing with his dad's handgun. >>> we have a guilty plea for a georgia woman accused of injecting illegal silicone into the butts of her baltimore customers. kimberly smedley was injecting super glue. she admitted going over the injections between 2003 and 2011. the silicone was not fda approved. a local exotic dancer paid smedley for injections on four occasions. silicone has been found in that woman's lungs. >>> more than a dozen dogs found wandering around baltimore county need a loving home. they found 18 dogs. 10 were found in a box and the others wandering around halethorpe. they range from a german shepherd to a yorkie poo. the animal shelter say it's rare to see this many animals want consider iting around. >> it's extremely rare. so we have no idea, no clue. it may be a breeder who for whatever reason could no longer sell these animals. >> the county animal she

it all took place on spectator lane in garrison, which is where abc2 news joce sterman is live. joce? >> reporter: neighbors coming home tonight to a bit of a surprise seeing the crime tape on spectator lane, something they were not expecting in a neighborhood that has been generally free of problems. at 3:45 this afternoon medics were called for a potential stabbing. police tell us as a result of what happened, two people were stabbed, one with life-threatening injuries. a group of people showed new a car, went inside one of the town houses. there was a fight. the two people were stabbed. the people who live there were also injured. that group of individuals left and shots were some point although no one was hit. as we said earlier, in addition to this scene on spectator lane, around the corner there was an additional scene where the shots may have been fired. now at this point police tell us they have no one in custody although they are questioning many people to trito piece together this story. we talked to people or coming home, people who cannot get to their homes as a resul

joce sterman is on the scene with the latest information from baltimore county police. >> reporter: we just heard from the public information officer. they are confirming there were two stabbings that happened on spectator lane. it began as a fight inside of the house. two people were stabbed. one with life-threatening injuries, the other with injuries, both taken to local hospitals. we want to bring in the spokesperson for the baltimore county police. a confusing scene at this point. >> approximately 3:45 our officers and medics were dispatched. one victim had been transported to the hospital with a potentially life-threatening injury. he has since been transported to another hospital. our officers located another victim with a stab injury and he also has been transported to the hospital. a group of people arrived into a -- arrived in a vehicle and got into a fight. we don't know what the fight was about but the investigation is ongoing. >> reporter: will are two scenes, one on spectator and one around the corner but police are not aware of anyone being hit by bullets or shots. >> cor

abc2's joce sterman tells us why. >> reporter: the phone line is one of the easiest ways to hit you withscam and if you've lost cash, odds are scammers will ring your line again, hoping to double their money. the federal trade commission calls these people reloaders. they dial back into people they've hit before and they have a few common tactics. some claim to work for government agencies, consumer groups or private companies that can help you recover what you've lost for a fee. but the feds say it's double trouble because the second scheme can being as costly as the first. reloaders might use prizes to squeeze money. if you buy something thinking you're ownerring a contest. the scammers will call over and over saying you can win more but don't take their bait. the ftc said wary of any promoter who repeatly calls. look for complaints filed by the better business bureau or attorney general against any company trying to sell you something over the phone. keep in mind legitimate groups don't charge for help or promise big results. those that do are likely relords, taking aim for a second s

joce sterman has the latest. >> reporter: t.j. lane will not be tried as an adult. instead, he's been charged with three counts of juvenile murder. that news comes as students face their first day back and the parents of lane's victims met with reporters for the very first time. in the chardon high school, a show of solidarity as schools return three days after the shooting death of three of their own as the kids struggle to find a new normal about the boy who fired the shots. juvenile records showed t.j. lane pleaded guilty to disorder conduct where he was accused of choking another boy. police are trying to pin down the motive. the families of four of lane's victims met with reporters. the three were killed at chardon. one was shot four times and is expected to recover. the family is trying to forgive the boy who changed their lives foreever. >> it's a guilt for me because their sons and my son was saved. >> he also faces two counts of attempted aggravated murder. >>> in wisconsin a student is arrested after creating a list of names of students he wanted to shoot.

joce sterman is there, reports of a multiple stabbing. >> reporter: kelly, this all started about 3:45. we're on spectator lane in garrison. this unfolded about 3:45. police were called out for reports of a stack. when we got her at 4:00, there was an active scene. police had several people outside and a young man inside. we spoke to the officer on the scene who told us at left one person was stabbed and shots were fired. we went around and started talking about witness. what they told us is this started as a fight outside of the house. at least one person was stabbed and shots were fired what you can't see from the scene on spectatetor lane there's additional scene around the corner. police on that street which looks like fifth harden. a lot of information being seen. a lot of people saw what happened. police are trying to sort through the information as they piece together what happened. at left one person has been stabbed. shots have been fired. we're waiting for a public information officer to come out. they did have one person in the back of the squad car. that scene has dispersed

joce sterman has more. >> reporter: the 84-page report is a heartbreaking reconstruction written by the line of duty death investigation team. it details the cause of the fire that killed him. as for what led to his death, the fire chief said there is no single cause, no single reason. the report details the 2011 fire in hillandale that claimed his life. a team of firefighters, union members and others, went through photos, interviews and did models to prevent it from happening again. he apparently used his radio saying he was trapped on the third floor under heavy fire, saying may day, may day, may day and was found unconscious near a sliding door. the report made recommendations that crews stick together and always carry a portable radio. in the end, the report said there was no major cause or failure. >> human nature dictates when a tragedy occurs, we want it find a villain. we want to isolate a single big factor. unfortunately, life is more complicated than that and there isn't always a proverbial smoking gun. >> reporter: according to that report the fire started with a pot of oil
