"james farr" is accused of killing "chad shelton" on saturday, then ransacking his home. according to an arrest report... farr broke into the home and stole a shotgun. police say farr used that shotgun to shoot shelton when he discovered what was going on, then took off in a stolen car. shelton's roommate found his body, and a big mess in the home. when police arrived, they found a wallet on the kitchen floor. license. police were able to track farr down through surveillance systems and tips from people who had talked to him. he is now facing murder and grand larseny charges. rancher ammon bundy testified his life was in "extreme danger" the night he was arrested. bundy is testifying in the oregon rancher trial. he led the occupation of the malheur national wildlife refuge back in january. bundy d
