again, with the lower humidity. then it's going to get hotter and more humid again early next week. we're already into the 80s in most of the area. 75 at mt. pocono. bit of a northwest wind there. that is a land breeze. let's see how that's affecting the beaches. yeah, still pretty warm there. just as warm at the beaches as inland when you have a northwest wind like that. ocean temperature down to 68. lewis is a little cooler because of the wind coming in off of the cooler delaware bay. so, that sets us up for a really really nice weekend. at the shore, mid-80s today because of the land breeze. with the sea breeze saturday and sunday near 80 degrees and the ocean temperature will be around 70. another great weekend in the poconos. just a slight chance of a shower on saturday afternoon. so we do have some great, great weather ahead. for the rest of the day today, sunny, much less humid than it has been. high temperatures around 90 perhaps into the low 90s. and then as we go through the rest of the weekend, we're into the low 90s but the humidity is tolerable. until we get to monday.

it's all about the humidity. we've got big humidity relief today and into the weekend. but the heat continues. 90 degree plus weather for at least a few more days. the weekend forecast from the shore to the poconos in general looking pretty great. lot of sunshine out there now and all day. lot of blue in the sky and it has reached 90 degrees but look at the relative humidity. only 29%. so the feels like temperature is 90. yesterday that feels like temperature reached 99 in philadelphia and triple digits in some areas just to the south. temperatures in the mid 80s to the north and west. 80 degrees in mt. pocono right now. and it is into the mid 80s at least as we head toward the shore because of that land breeze that is occurring today. they will have mostly a land breeze over the weekend as well. at least tomorrow at the shore. that's why tomorrow is going to be a warmer day than sunday, more of that west wind. it will feel kind of hot on the beaches until perhaps a late day sea breeze comes in. the ocean temperature's down to 68 degrees. sunday, just a spectacular day
