ktvu's alex savidge was the first reporter on scene. i understand the police presence continues to grow. >> reporter: it does. this all began when a man called 911 earlier this morning to say he had been shot. he told police the man who shot him was inside of a home here on bryant street just up the block right here on 22nd street. police are still out there. they've surrounded this home. i want to show you some of the action that took place as s.w.a.t. officers came in. two men were detained. police at this point aren't telling us exactly what their involvement may have been. we did see earlier this morning at least ten people were brought out of the house and searched. none of them were taken into custody. the original shooting that led to the standoff was at 4:30 this morning. that's when police say a man was hit by gunfire. we saw as he was taken away by paramedics. he was taken away and treated at the hospital and is expected to survive. the motive remains unclear. but as we bring you out here to a live picture, more police officer
