a cool start to the morning. daytime highs today are actually going to be sitting about nine degrees above average into the santa clara valley. about seven degrees above average later today into san francisco. and about ten degrees above average all the way up into the north bay. if you are curious the reason why we're seeing above average temperatures, despite the fact that it's november here in the bay. high pressure is just offshore and it usually keeps us dry. sunny skies today and also reason why the temperatures are just a little bit warmer. but that's not going to last for too much longer. we have a new system moving its way in it's going to push that one to the south. this is going to bring in more rain as we head into our weekend so rain chances start to increase as early as saturday heading into sunday. with it's not going to be a washout event by any means but with a better chance as we kick off early next week too. so hit or miss showers throughout the bay area that's what we have right now on the mod

let me start with you.me what happened to you on october the seventh. >> at six :00 i the morning we woke up. there were many alarms. we heard many rockets. we know what to do in this situation and we went to the safe room. we had a problem with the door. we could not close it was set inside trying to be very quiet. it was difficult to do because i have a small baby. she is one years and eight months. two other children. we set like this for two hours. very fast, something else happening. something we don't know. we started to hear gunshots. gunshots from outside on the windows, on the walls from outside. we started to hear sounds. people talking outside. we smelled things burning. weeard things breaking. we were terrified. after two hours, my husband decided to go outside the safe room and to shut the door on us. this was the only way to close the door. so went outside and waited. he told us from outside he loves us. we told him we love him. at about 10:00, the terrorists entered our house. they shot him.
