first alert meteorologist erika martin joins us. >> this is a widespread nor'easter. the piece of energy that will redevelop and intensify off the coast is what's going to become that nor'easter. so get ready for some really wild weather. the satellite perspective, i do want to give you some idea of where this energy is coming from, from the southwest to the northeast. we can see here this is just a half hour radar loop, because i really want to keep this right now and show you, we do have some rain showers already on the way, already being reported and in fact we still have that dense fog advisory still in effect, a huge issue as far as this visibility is concerned. nor'easter timeline, now through midnight, light rain, increasing wind, not an issue right now, so don't be fooled by that. midnight to 9:00 a.m., developing rain and sustained wind speeds and wind gusts. from now about tomorrow at 3:00 p.m., we'll see winds over 40 to 50 miles an hour, 60-mile-per-hour wind speeds over the jersey shore. and on monday night, the rain and wind continue. so that's really th

i'm erika gonzalez. meteorologist amelia draper has your outlook for tonight and when you wake up. >> this just in from the national weather service. they're extending the winter weather vezry for all the counties pretty much in maryland that border pennsylvania until 4:00 a.m. for the potential for slick spots out there. take a look at the map out there. freezing rain advisory still in effect for northern montgomery, howard, and baltimore, will be coming down momentarily. but the areas here in purple, this includes hagerstown and frederick. under that winter weather advisory until 4:00 a.m. if you're traveling late tonight, early tomorrow morning, especially in those areas, you want to watch for bridges and overpasses. main roads, though, i think will be just fine. and take a look at the radar. most of the area dry. a few sprinkles out there starting to push out of the area by midnight all of this activity is gone, some patchy fog in. throughout the day tomorrow we're completely dry. erika, i've taken a
