i'm kris sanchez in for laura garcia. >> and i'm marcus washington.e is keeping an eye on that commute. we'll get to him in a bit. first we start with meteorologist kari hall taking a look at the forecast. kari, how is it looking out there for us? >>> it's starting out smoky in the south bay, and we know that we have these wafts of smoke coming up from the south county. we're going to have to watch out for the air quality today and limit your time outside because it will be unhealthy. as we head over to pleasanton and check out our temperature trend in the tri-valley we're in the upper 50s to start, and then we see it warming up and it won't be as warm as yesterday. in fact we're looking at some low 80s here. we'll get a look at our micro climates and talk about the air quality coming up. any issues for drivers? >>> two bridges i'm concerned with. the first is the bay bridge where the largest volume goes across at this time and that's . the live camera shows you have the middle lanes with the slowing backing up and the other lanes off 580 and the 880

i'm laura garcia. >> and i'm marcus washington. getting started with this hump day wednesday, mike will take a look at the commute for you. first let's start offolist kari look at the forecast kari, lrod again this morning. how is it feeling out there for us? >>> it feels pretty nice though it's been humid. and as we take a live look outside in the tri-valley we're checking out dublin. it's a cloudy start to the day but it won't be like this for long. we'll see it clearing out over the next couple of hours and in pleasanton expect by 9:00 times of sunshine and more clearing throughout the rest of the day. our temperatures stay nice. we're reaching into the mid-70s by noon. a high temperature in livermore reaching 83. 73 will be the high in oakland with some mid-60s for the coastal areas and san jose in the upper 70s. slightly cooler than normal weather in the forecast. mike, how is it looking right now for the commute? >>> well, the bay bridge is often a topic and it's looking great. we check out our maps, the eastern side, the oak

i'm laura garcia. >> i'm marcus washington. mike keeping his eyes on the road for us this morning and vianey in for kari. how will we start out with this weather? >> we have the return of the marine layer and been seeing this for the past couple mornings and we'll see it for the first half. temperatures in san francisco 57 and palo alto 59 and also made its way in when it comes to oakland, concord, napa and even through fairfield is starting to see some fog. we'll see that sticking around for the first half and then a lot slower to clear in areas like half moon bay, san francisco. by about 3:00 when we typically start to see peak temperatures. temperatures in the 80s in south bay and valleys. definitely going to be cool around the coast and cloudy at least for the majority of the day with peaks of sunshine expected for the afternoon. i'll have a closer look at your full forecast coming up in a few minutes. mike? >> all right. vianey. the overall commute and i've circled the slowing that just about cleared for north 101. but in
