i'm dave clark. >> i'm tori campbell. it is thursday may 2nd. >>> happening now two wildfires continue to burn. the biggest of the two the yellow fire burned 125 acres north of calestoga. claudine wong is live. >> reporter: good morning. we're on sota canyon springs road. up here i want to show you what's happening now. the fire crews that have been here all night long making sure the fire doesn't spread. behind the trucks you can see more crews. they have the day shift coming in and about to switch out. this is where the fire stopped last night. they were able to get it to stop from crossing much further over this hill. up that road, there is more damage because the fire stretches 800 or so feet there. i want to show you something. this gives you a good indication. it is dangerous out here. when you talk about this grove of trees. if you pan up, you can see another tree that has fallen into it and lodged its way through here. that's the situation this entire grove of trees and did not want to send anyone through that ove

i am dave clark. >> and i am pam cook, right now cal fire is expected to have fires contained by thef the day. right now 125 acres are boring north of calistoga. claudine wong joins us from napa where you just got an update from cal fire? >> reporter: yes, we are standing here on soda springs road where the fire actually stopped and if you take a look at this roadway, you can see it burned across into the roadway where it used to be an afternoon -- a through the resort area. you can see -- a flew want resort area. it started in a grove of eucalyptus trees and wind blew down what they think was some power lines and the wind swept up the hill and got to where we are now. this is only one area and it also stretches 800 feet in the other direction and it was a decent fire head to deal with and there are 150 firefighters here and they did not do a lot at night because of the dangers posed by the fire and they just spoke about the dangers they were dealing with. >> we will hire the professionals to come in and cut the trees down to make them safe to reopen to the public. >> reporter: is th

. >>> it is may 7th, i am dave clark. >> and palm cook, time now 6:30. >>> three suspects ended in aig crash. janine de la vega is live on the scene to tell us how police tracked the suspects down and the connection one may have to an early morning robbery, janine? >> reporter: police say surveillance video and the clerk inside gave a detailed description of the suspect and they say the woman had a bandanna, gloves and was holding a 22 revolver and that's what helped officers tracker down. they tracked her down to silver creek this morning and recognized the armed robbery suspects because she matched the description of a woman who robbed two different areas in san jose. she was found near king in those robberies and on a hunch, they went back to the same apartment complex and spotted her stolen bmw with two passengers inside. again, they crashed into a tree. >> again, the suspect driver who was involved decided to flee go towards 101 here. he also fled in that direction and the pregnant female got out of the car and just sat down. >> reporter: police arrested 22- year-old sharon gonz
